Reiichi Himuro (Japanese: 氷室 零一, Himuro Reiichi) is one of the dateable characters featured in Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love. He is a math teacher at Habataki Academy, and the heroine's homeroom teacher. He is also the Brass Band's club advisor. Most students tend to fear Reiichi due to his stern demeanor and strict rule-abiding. However, as you get to know him, he has a strong passion for jazz music and has fun playing the piano, showing a much looser side of his personality.
At school, he often chases down students who skip class, such as Madoka Kijyo. His enemy is Natsumi Fuji, who often tries to play pranks on him. She began a tradition of students attempting to prank him, though they often fail.
His best friend is Yoshihito Masuda, who owns the jazz bar he frequents. Together he plays the piano while Yoshihito plays the saxophone.
Itaru Hikami is his younger cousin who aspires to be as "cool and respected" as he is. Inori Himuro is also related to Reiichi, though it hasn't been confirmed exactly how as of yet.
He makes reappearances as a secondary character in both TMGS3 and TMGS4.

Although Reiichi is considered to be scary for most students, he's actually quite kind and thoughtful. Quite early in the game, Reiichi will take you to a place in the park where he often goes if you're over-stressed and he'll attend to your injury if you get hurt during the Sport Festival without lecturing you too harshly. There's an event where he falls asleep while grading, showing a gentle look on his face. Students often joke about Reiichi secretly being an android who was created in the church behind the school. The rumor is so strong that it continues into TMGS3. There is several rumors about Reiichi in TMGS3, though the android one is the most popular and accepted. Reiichi can have a bit of "road rage" when he sees someone is not following the laws of the road while he's driving. He also appreciates horror films. |
