Tamami Konno (Japanese: 紺野珠美, Konno Tamami) is the quiet and shy manager of the basketball club. Although she is very athletic and enjoys all sorts of sports, she tends to look down on herself and considers herself a bit slow and lacking.

She is very kind and considerate, and works extremely hard to take care of the basketball team. She often stays back after school to clean up the gym and makes health juices and meals for the team. She is friendly and warm towards the heroine right away.

In junior high school, she held a record for swimming. She secretly has feelings for Kazuma.

She is the older sister of Tamao Konno, and is very close with her brother.

If you become too stylish and charming, Tamami will send an email explaining how she feels like the protagonist is becoming a stranger to her, which makes her feel insecure. She then apologizes for feeling that way in the same email. She appears in one of Tamao's CG events. One ADV event of Tamao focuses on her.

Etymology[]

Her last name has the characters 紺 (meaning "dark blue," "navy") and 野 ("plains" or "field"). Her first name has the characters 珠 ("pearl," "gem," "jewel") and 美, meaning "beautiful."

The name Tamami means "bead, pearl, gem, jewel" (珠) (tama) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- "Tama," meaning ball, is a common name for cats in Japan because of the way cats look like a rounded ball when they curl up to sleep. It can be written in kanji (玉) or hiragana (たま), and "Tama-chan" is also a popular alternative. The name is small and cute to fit Tamami, but it might be a reason she dislikes to be called only "Tama."
Tamami's surname Konno means "navy blue" (紺) (kon) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).
